Hot season strategies

In addition to shade and evaporate cooling, there are a number of other strategies you can use during the hot season to help keep cows cool. These include:

Changes to milking time.
Access to cool drinking water at all times.
Changes to paddock rotation.
Developing a summer nutrition program.
Altering mating management.
